The Crandall Brothers In The South Pacific!
On 7.25.07 at 5:30am the Crandall Brothers touched down at Faleolo airport in Samoa. A missions trip that had been discussed and planned for almost 3 years had finally come. So thankful that the Lord led us here we immediately could tell that this would be a visit we would not soon forget!
Pastor Viliamu Mafoe' and his lovely wife Lavina met us at the airport with a team from Worship Centre and escorted us into Apia. The Capital of Samoa.
Our first day, we made our way to our base camp for the next week. Aggie Grey's in Apia. We settled in and tried to get some rest before the first nights service. At 5pm we were called to meet in the lobby of the hotel to board our van and head to service. Pastor of Worship Centre Viliamu Mafoe' and Lavina greeted us and we began to ready ourselves for what was to be a very memorable service....after all....this was the World Wide Conference of "Holy Spirit Week"
As we walked into this gigantic tent where meetings were taken place, you had a sense of the Holy Spirit already lingering. The Praise Team had just begun to sing and people were already beginning to ask the Lord to attend this meeting! The Praise Team began to sing "fire, fire, fire....Fire fall on me. Holy Ghost and Power Fire Fall on Me" you could not help being ushered into his presence!
When it came time for us to sing, we...or at least I began to think...what can we bring to meetings that have been so awesome?...I began to get a little nervous as I thought more.....then as we were called up....I whispered to Tim and Lee...."let's just do what we normally do and minister to people". A calm came over us as the song "my Jesus I love thee" began to come over the speakers and Tim started to sing...."my Jesus I love thee, I know thou art mine, to thee all the follies of sin I resign" as Tim sang, all questions in my mind melted away as the Lord's presence came down and hundreds all across the tent began to worship the Lord, inviting him to this service.
